ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix App Reviews

The update didnt fix the issue of not being able to listen to music while using the app. The editors continue to link the wrong stories and pictures to the descriptions on the app. The only benefit I see to the update is the font is easier to read.

Best roundup of local news compared to Channels3,12 and Azcentral. HOWEVER, its the only one thats shuts down my audio whether listening to Sirius or music, etc. Really irritating.

I am deleting this app because every time I want to check out a story I have to put up with a quick google survey. Not worth my time

The daily weather and traffic alerts have been good. But the amount of alerts not related to traffic or weather, or true breaking news has just become excessive and annoying. Sounding off on a cardinal game is not an alert, sorry. App deleted

Seriously, ABC15? ... A 30 second SRP commercial before every news video? Time to look for a different local news app.

Well so long abc 15. Youve now joined the ranks of " lets see how many ads we can shove down the throats of people" And then have the nerve to call it a "News App" I guess nowadays "journalist" means ad man

The old layout was easier to scroll through. I used this app for the format. I will need to find a different news format.

The old UI was much better. Layout on new format is not visually appealing.

Yes its true, with any free service you must expect ads. However, with the recent update this news app became an ad app. You get adds mixed with the news, you click on a link and it sometimes directs to into safari for another ad. Then you have an ad before you watch the actual news video. Too much to navigate though by the time I reach the actual article I have forgotten what I clicked on.

Abc15 is the best news app in the valley!

New update means way more ads and they now require an account with either email or Facebook information. Yuck.

This is one of the worst updates Ive ever seen. Too many ads. Way too many ads. The screen is so busy and cluttered, it makes my head hurt. Wheres the Let Joe Know section? Where are the local area news sections. My favorite news app is now my least favorite. And now you have to create an account with email address or Facebook. Why? So they can spam some more? No thanks. No love.

I HATE the new format. Was easier to use before. AND it is slower and freezes. So much for their hype on faster and easier - WRONG!!

This used to be one of my favorite news apps. The new update is trying to look like CNN. It is not organized well. No longer has sections for different content such as local or shopping deals. It is MUCH slower and freezes. It seems more geared to video than reading since often the text takes forever to load or crashes and there is no real layout, lots of white space. Way more ads for a much poorer product!

There are sooooo many ads! Where are the news stories? Terrible update! The new format is not friendly either.

A few weeks ago this would have had more stars, but no longer. I get that local news content is not always fascinating, but ABC15, with its "My News" section, was just about the last decent app for news in the East Valley portion of metro Phoenix. Now, apparently, I need to create a login, which I am not going to do, and then MAYBE there will be a way to customize what Im seeing on the screen. Deleting app now; bye bye.
